Mark 12:30-31

“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Bible verse verses from Mark 12:30-31

The spiritual leaders were looking to experience Jesus up through asking Him which was the greatest commandment and Jesus nailed it spot on when He stated that we're to love the Lord our God with all of our coronary heart, might, mind, and soul.  but we are also to like our pals.  who're our neighbors?  within the Parable of the coolest Samaritan Jesus confirmed that every one males and females are our pals and so we need to love them as nicely, although they had been a “Samaritan” to us.  part of this command is not obeyed via many desirable Christians…the element wherein we're to love ourselves as our friends.  while we hate ourselves and are extremely hard on ourselves, we're breaking this commandment where we are commanded to like our acquaintances as ourselves.
