in the beginning look, this doesn’t appear to be worthy of being on absolutely everyone’s pinnacle 10 list of Bible verses on love, however wait…let me provide an explanation for why I selected this one. We show our love for others after they ask us to do something and we do it willingly due to the fact we like them. If we truely love Jesus, why wouldn’t we need to thrill Him via obeying what He has informed us to do? Obedience is favored over sacrifice (1 Sam 15:22). Samuel asks a rhetorical query in this verse: “Has the Lord as brilliant pride in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is higher than sacrifice, and to concentrate than the fat of rams.” God would as a substitute have a person obey Him than to offer many or pricey sacrifices because obedience indicates recognize and love for the only to whom it's miles given.
